At Large Media has worked with Raincoast Books since 2005, creating and producing their author podcast series.

Anthony Bourdain Podcast

As the first publisher in Canada to begin podcasting, Raincoast's audio series garnered media coverage from CBS, MuchMusic, Book TV and others.  It is also delivering an audience of listeners that continues to grow month by month.

Working with Raincoast’s marketing department, At Large Media interviews select authors for the podcast series.  To ensure the option of other types of distribution, interviews are conducted with state of the art digital equipment at broadcast quality.

To ensure the best possible results, interviews are conducted on-location, and At Large Media’s Robert Ouimet has met with authors in coffee shops, hockey rinks, or at their homes – wherever they are most comfortable talking about themselves and their work.  For the Anthony Bourdain series, Robert spent the day following Anthony around Vancouver doing media interviews, and spoke with him while he was en-route or waiting to be interviewed by the city’s media elite.  The results provide unique insights into the authors and their works.

For Raincoast, At Large Media also provides a complete podcast technical solution which includes RSS feeds, custom iTunes files and feeds, serving and audience usage analysis.
